Charities and Foundations
The John Taylor Foundation is a charity and its Trustees want to raise awareness amongst athletic clubs and athletes in West Yorkshire and neighbouring areas of the services which the Foundation provides. These are twofold:
- to give financial aid to young (normally up to 24 years of age) athletes who may be struggling to find costs which would help them to pursue their athletics wishes / careers (this does not just apply to elite athletes)
- to raise awareness amongst as many athletes of all ages in the UK of the condition known as cardiomyopathy.
Fuller information about the Foundation and its formation and its aims can be found on its website.
